The REACH 2010 Charleston and Georgetown Diabetes Coalition have received the 2006 Health Information Award for Libraries from the U.S. National Commission on Libraries and Information Science (NCLIS ). The local connection consists of a partnership between the Georgetown County Diabetes CORE Group, the Choppee Health Center, Nazareth A.M.E. Church, and Georgetown County Library.
